John and Edward at the Pride of Ireland Awards

Jedward last night presented the Child of Courage award to Alyssa Kelly, from County Wexford, in the inaugural Pride of Ireland Awards.

Alyssa, a twin herself, has cerebal palsy, and had the determination and courage to defy doctors by teaching herself to walk – at only 6 years old.

John and Edward spoke after the ceremony about Alyssa:

The Pride Of Ireland Awards were hosted by Una Foden, and will be broadcast from 9pm on Thursday 5 June on TV3.
