In an exciting development it’s been revealed that not only will Jedward form part of the expert judging panel for this weekend’s Junior Eurovision, to be held in Valletta, Malta, but they will also be performing their latest track, ‘Hologram’.

John and Edward have participated twice in the main Eurovision Song Contest for their home country of Ireland, in 2011 and 2o12, singing their songs, ‘Lipstick’, and ‘Waterline’ respectively.

The twins announced their performance of ‘Hologram’ today from their Twitter account:

The Irish duo will be judging the contest as part of a newly introduced expert panel, which will also include Mads Grimstad of Universal Music Denmark, and expert show producer, Christer Bjorkman, the man behind the Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, ‘Melodifestivalen’. Christer was the show producer for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm and also represented Sweden in the competition in 1992.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast live on Sunday 20th November, commencing at 3.30pm CET (2.30pm UK/Eire) on Junior Eurovision’s website, while Irish language channel TG4 will be showing a delayed telecast from 7.30pm on the same evening. The show can be viewed outside Ireland on TG4s website.
